Stephen J. Ehrfurth poses for a picture at the White House during the It’s On Us Summit

Steve Ehrfurth is invited to the White House to represent Alpha Delta Phi at the It’s On Us Summit.

This month, Stephen J. Ehrfurth – ADPhi Executive Director and MN ’06 graduate, had the honor of representing Alpha Delta Phi at the White House during the It’s On Us Summit. The summit is intended to bring like-minded organizations together in collaboration to find creative and effective ways to end sexual violence on college campuses. Alpha Delta Phi is a proud partner of the It’s On Us movement and remains a zero-tolerance organization when it comes to sexual assault.

The summit features a panel of speakers committed to generating effective solutions for ending sexual assault.

Vice President Joe Biden addresses the problem of sexual assault to a room full of It’s On Us partners and supporters.

It’s On Us is a rallying cry inviting everyone to step up and realize that the solution begins with us. It’s a declaration that sexual assault is not only a crime committed by a perpetrator against a victim, but a societal problem in which all of us have a role to play. We are reframing sexual assault in a way that inspires everyone to see it as their responsibility to do something, big or small, to prevent it. We are asking everyone to create an environment, be it a dorm room, a party, a club or a sports team, or the greater college campus, where sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.

Raising awareness. Holding ourselves and each other accountable. Looking out for someone who cannot consent.  IT’S ON US. All of us.
