Social Life at Alpha Delta Phi

Networking is one of the most vital things to becoming successful in life. Expanding your social network while in college will not only make your college career more fun, it will also open you to unforeseen opportunities later in life. At Alpha Delta Phi, you WILL expand your social network. Our extensive and creative social calendar gives us opportunities to take a break from schoolwork and have fun in and out of the house with our friends and brothers.

Those are just some of the social activities brothers have participated in. Within the past year alone, brothers have taken numerous road-trips to see other chapter houses in Madison, Wisconsin; Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Chicago, Illinois. Brothers went to all different places to relax for spring break. It is also highly encouraged by the house to help expand your social network by joining another club. Brothers in the house have been members of the University of Minnesota Waterski and Wakeboard Team and the University of Minnesota Crew Team. Our house also has many members in the University of Minnesota Marching Band and in the R.O.T.C. program. Every fall and spring members participate actively in intramural sport programs offered by the University. Within the past year, brothers have also won "Sweetheart Contests" at two different sororities on campus. By winning these, those brothers became honorary members of those sororities. These types of events help to expand the social network of everyone in the entire house.

When looking at what this fraternity has to offer, one thing rises above even the academic and financial opportunities. That one thing is the people. Alpha Delta Phi's most valuable asset is its members. Through comradery and friendship, it is our hope that every brother will walk away from college knowing that they made the most of their time here at the University.
