Philanthropy
Philanthropy is extremely important to this fraternity. Donating to the community is a major goal set by our fraternity; it also allows brothers to give back to those less fortunate in the community.
Since spring of 2005, we have held a blood drive each semester with the help of the Red Cross. With nearly 40 donations each, the Red Cross receives the needed blood from donors on campus.
This fall semester, our fraternity held a car smash. The event was on October 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. During this event participants were able to swing at a truck for $1 apiece. The money raised went to liver cancer research.
During our sweetheart week we raised money for Toys for Tots by selling hot chocolate and cookies.
